The Film

From $3,000

First build in ten business days.

You are inside one.

This page, the room you just moved through, the objects that opened when you looked at them. That is one of three ways this tier is built.

The built site.
What you are standing in. Real 3D and pure-code motion, where every movement is a designed gesture rather than a page load. No footage, and nothing off a shelf.
The opened film.
Your site, entered through a short cinematic film made for it, so a visitor arrives through the work rather than at it.
The scrolled film.
One continuous shot that plays as a visitor scrolls, resolving into the working site underneath it.

Two or three concepts are pitched first. You pick one and it locks: revisions tune the concept, a new concept is new scope.

Most businesses will never need this. The ones who do already know, because they are selling something where the feeling of the thing is the thing.

Every element is built from nothing for one brand. There is no library to pull from and no second version of it anywhere.

Axiom Studios builds websites for businesses that want to be taken seriously.

One person, three depths of work, and no templates at any of them. Every build is drawn for the business it belongs to: the palette, the type, the words, the motion.

The studio is small on purpose. You deal with the person doing the work, and if something is not to your standard, it does not ship.

In Australia, working anywhere.

The work

  1. The Page

    From $800

First build in three business days.

One page that carries the whole business.

  2. The Site

    From $2,000

First build in five business days.

For the business that has outgrown one page.

  3. The Film

    From $3,000

First build in ten business days.

Three ways to build it: the built site, the opened film, or the scrolled film.

The same business, built three times.

One photographer. The same palette, the same type, the same photographs, the same mark. What changes between these three is how much site there is, and that is the only thing that changes.

Every studio will tell you the bigger option is better. This is the comparison instead.

  1. HALDEN's Page: one photograph in a black margin with a drawn ring around it

    The Page

    From $800

    The Ring

One page, and one decision about which argument carries the business. A chinagraph ring draws itself around the hero once. Nothing else on the page is allowed to become a second signature.

  2. HALDEN's Site: a wedding day laid out hour by hour across seven routes

    The Site

    From $2,000

    The Long Day

Seven routes, and room to make more than one argument. The day runs hour by hour instead of as a claim, the collections have a page to be compared on, and the enquiry is somewhere a visitor arrives rather than somewhere they are sent.

  3. HALDEN's Film: a contact sheet of thirty six frames, one circled

    The Film

    From $3,000

    Contact Sheet

The site becomes the object it is about. A contact sheet you fall into, frame to frame, three rolls deep, every cell opening full bleed. It is the built site lane, so it is real 3D and pure code, and there is no footage anywhere in it.

HALDEN is a fictional business, built by the studio to show one brand at all three depths.
